Many people I have spoken to over the last couple of weeks have said that they have really struggled with the second lockdown, far more than they did with the first one!
Lots of people are having some difficult days and I include myself in this too!
Talking about how we are feeling can be a big help and of course I always recommend doing some exercise!
Exercise is known to reduce low mood and feelings of anxiety and depression and it increases the feel good hormones!!
Exercise has played such an important part in my mental health but none more than ever over the past few months!
As soon as I put the music on and I start my classes, everything else is forgotten and I always end up feeling so much better for moving my body and my clients tell me that it helps them too. It has given them a routing to their day, a reason to get up in the mornings, a focus on them for that 30 or 45 minutes!!
Give it a go….. take a walk, try an online class, a run in the park!! Whatever is your thing, just get up and move!!
