When lockdown hit and I had to move my fitness classes online I would never have dreamed that it would have gone as well as it has......I love teaching online and my participants are telling me they do too!!!
Here are the top 5 reasons I think it works so well...
1. Time - no rushing to get to a class after work, or battling through traffic, simply pop your trainers on and be in front of your screen 2 minutes before the class starts!!! No excuses that it's too hot, too cold, raining etc.
2. More variety - my participants are telling me they are more likely to try new classes out as they are in the comfort of their own home.....even if you only manage half the class it doesn't matter!
3. No health worries - if you have any health conditions or live with anyone with health conditions you may not feel comfortable about going into a class indoors with other people at the moment....so this is a safe way to exercise.
4. You can do what SUITS YOU! In the past people had to come to set venues on set days and times ....now they do classes at times and on days that SUITS THEM....my classes can be done live or when it SUITS YOU.
5. No worries if your partner isn't back from work to look after the kids or if you work shifts and can't commit to the same class each week...the kids can join in or watch from the sofa and you can work the classes around shifts etc.
