The truth about why diets don’t work is because they’re unsustainable.
If you’re required to cut out an entire food group, restrict calories, drink magic potions, or live off of soup, there’s a 100% chance you won’t last long.
The real problem with dieting is that an ALL or NOTHING approach isn’t a long-term approach.
When foods are “allowed” or “not allowed” and good or bad, you’re following an all or none plan.
With few exceptions, those plans fail. Every. Single. Time.
Because…real life.
So, the next time you think about that new plan you’re going to start on Monday, just remember that if you won’t be eating that way 2 years from now, save yourself the frustration and torture!
