Designated businesses and organisations, including leisure venues, will be legally required to log details of customers and staff for NHS Test and Trace from Thursday 24 September.
Regulations are also in force to ensure that businesses comply with the rule of 6 and maintain social distancing between customers. Businesses failing to comply could be issued with fines of up to £4,000. Designated venues now have a legal requirement to maintain records of customer contact details and display an official NHS QR code poster ahead of the
rollout of the NHS COVID-19 app.
I already keep these details however, I now have to display official NHS QR code posters under law ahead of the NHS COVID-19 app being rolled out nationally next week.
My posters are on the door as you enter The Studio. Once the app is rolled out, you will be required to download it and scan yourself on entry using your mobile phone.
We will still be keeping a record of everyone who attends classes, so if you don’t have a smart phone don’t worry. You will still be able to attend classes you have booked in for.
Please continue to maintain social distancing both outside while you are waiting for your session to start and inside The Studio during the session. It is important that we comply with the regulations if we want to remain open!
Thank you for your continued support.
