Last week, I talked about something every diet should include - and why quick fixes don’t work, especially in midlife.
I wanted to build on that today, because this is something I hear from women over 40 all the time: “I’m doing all the right things… but nothing’s changing.”
You’re
eating well.
You’re moving more.
You’re trying to be consistent.
And yet the scale barely moves, your energy dips, or your body just doesn’t respond the way it used to.
Here’s the part no one really explains.
After 40, it’s not just what you do - it’s how your body responds.
Hormonal changes, years of dieting, stress, poor recovery, under-fuelling, overtraining… all of these shape how your
body behaves now. Two women can eat the same meals and do the same workouts - and get completely different results.
That’s why generic plans often fail.
