Hi ,
We’ve just got back from a wonderful long weekend in Santander, Spain with my family - Mum, Dad, my sister and her husband. It was so lovely to all spend time together.
We arrived Friday and had a lovely meal out that evening (the first of several delicious meals!). On Saturday, before the rain arrived,
Paul and I joined Mum and Dad on a bus tour of the city – a great way to see the sights and get our bearings. But then… the heavens opened ☔ and it poured for the rest of the day! We got absolutely soaked, so “rain stopped play” after that.
Luckily, my sister had booked a fabulous restaurant for Saturday evening, and the food more than made up for the soggy afternoon! Sunday was much kinder - we walked along the promenade, watched the surfers and
managed to dodge the rain long enough to enjoy a coffee break before heading to a lovely fish restaurant for lunch.
Paul and I even had a little time just the two of us - a wander through the town, an ice cream and some relaxed people-watching.
It really was such a lovely weekend, full of great food, family time and laughter. Yes, I definitely ate more than usual but that’s part of enjoying life and creating
memories, isn’t it? It all balances out.
This was our last little break for a while - we don’t normally have holidays so close together, but with all the celebrations lately, that’s just how it worked out!
Now I’m home and feeling refreshed and ready to get back into routine. I’ve planned out my new gym programme to help me move closer to my goals, and I’ve set my macros to get me back on track for the rest
of 2025.
If you’ve had a busy few weeks or a little too much indulgence recently - don’t worry! You can press reset too. A few consistent habits and a clear plan can make such a difference.
Let’s finish the year feeling strong, focused and full of energy! 💪
Love Nicki xx
P.S. If you’d like a little help with your own plan or goals for the rest of the year, just hit reply - I’d love to help you create a roadmap to
