We’ve been back from our holiday in Crete for just over a week now and what a wonderful trip it was! We stayed in a gorgeous villa, spent time exploring Chania, relaxing on the beaches and generally just enjoying slowing down for a while.
Since getting back it’s been a whirlwind! I’ve had a busy week with my in-person clients and on Monday the
Midlife Mojo Method officially kicked off! It’s my brand-new online programme for women over 40 and I have to say I’m blown away already by the energy and support in the group. We had our very first group coaching call on Monday last week and the ladies are already getting fantastic results - it’s so exciting to see!
Behind the scenes I’ve been busy with admin, planning programmes, creating nutrition plans and putting together recipes. I’ve also got back into
my own training (even if I’m a bit sore from it - always worth it though 😆).
One thing I’ve been working on this weekend for the online programme is protein-rich recipes to help the ladies hit their protein goals. Protein is especially important for women over 40 - particularly if you’re in a calorie deficit - because it helps you:
· Maintain and build lean muscle (which supports your metabolism)
· Stay fuller for longer (making it
easier to stick to your nutrition plan)
· Support recovery from exercise so you can keep training and feeling strong
It’s such a game-changer for energy, body composition and overall health at this stage of
life.
