Hi ,
Â
Â
Ahhh, the final days before Christmas… ✨
The lights are twinkling, the diary is full and food seems to be everywhere you turn.
Â
If you’re a woman in midlife, you might also be feeling that familiar little worry creeping in…
“Will I undo all my progress?”
“Will I feel sluggish and out of control by
January?”
Â
You are not alone in this - and the good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Â
This time of year can feel especially challenging in midlife. Hormones, energy levels, sleep, stress and changing bodies mean that “just getting back on track in January” isn’t as simple as it once was. But with the right approach, you can enjoy Christmas and feel good in your body.
Â
Here are a few simple ways to stay grounded
over the festive period - without guilt or restriction:
Â
1. Decide… then Enjoy
Instead of feeling like you’re constantly “being good or being bad”, decide in advance where you’ll fully enjoy yourself. Christmas dinner? Absolutely. A special dessert you love? Enjoy it mindfully and guilt-free.
At other times, choose lighter, nourishing options. This approach creates balance - and balance is what actually works in
midlife.
Â
2. Keep Moving (Little & Often)
Movement doesn’t need to be long or intense right now. A 10-minute walk, a short Pilates flow, gentle mobility or even dancing around the kitchen all count.
Consistent movement supports hormones, digestion, mood and energy - and helps you feel like you throughout the holidays.
Â
3. Slow Down When You Eat
Mindful eating is powerful, especially at this time of
year. Slow down, savour your food, notice when you’re satisfied. This helps prevent that uncomfortable, over-full feeling and supports digestion (which many women notice changes in during midlife).
Â
Imagine Starting January Feeling Calm, Strong and In Control
Not desperate to “fix” yourself.
Not punishing your body.
But feeling steady, confident and ready to move forward.
Â
That’s exactly what I help women achieve through
