Hi
Â
Â
I’m back from a beautiful, relaxing holiday on the stunning little Greek island of Tilos - and what a refreshing break it was!
Â
We had a gorgeous view from our hotel room, indulged in delicious Greek food and enjoyed a challenging 50-minute coastal walk (hello, steps and cardio!). We were rewarded with a
stunning beach at the end of the trail, and of course, I swam in the sea - bliss!
Â
I didn’t lift weights or do any formal training while I was away - and that’s okay! I did lots of walking and swimming, which kept me moving. It was lovely to switch things up and give my body a different kind of movement.
Yes, I enjoyed ice cream every day (because... holidays 🍦), but I was also
mindful of what I was eating. I didn’t track calories or macros, but I paid attention to how I felt and kept up my hydration, drinking 3–5 litres of water daily, especially in the heat.
Â
I’ve been back a few days now, feeling rested, recharged — and finally caught up after a long travel day home (early ferry, late flight... you know how it goes!). I’m already back into the swing of things with Pilates and LIFT classes and it’s been so lovely
seeing many of your faces again!
Â
Â
🌴 Holiday Without the Setbacks? Yes, You Can!
Â
One thing I often hear is: "I’m worried about undoing all my hard work when I go on holiday."
Â
Let me reassure you - you don’t lose your progress in a week or two away. Especially if you’ve been training consistently like I have since our last holiday in September - every single week, no missed
sessions! 🙌
Â
A short break is not only okay, it’s beneficial. It gives your body time to rest and recover and mentally, it’s so refreshing.
Â
This week, back at the gym, I regressed my weights a little to ease myself in gently. That’s normal - and smart! I’ll be back to my usual strength in just a couple of weeks.

đź’ˇ My Top Tips for a Healthy, Guilt-Free
Holiday:
- Keep moving, even if it’s just walking or swimming.
- Don’t stress over perfect nutrition - be mindful, not militant.
- Enjoy treats like ice cream (they're part of the experience!).
- Stay hydrated, especially in warm climates.
- Focus on rest and recharge - that’s health too.
- When you return, ease back in and trust your body to catch
up.
Â
Remember: Your fitness journey is for life, not a 6-week sprint. One holiday won’t derail you - in fact, it might make you come back stronger, just like I feel now 💪
Â
It’s been great to see many of you in classes this week - let’s keep bringing that summer energy into our sessions!
Â
And if you’ve got a holiday coming up, don’t stress - you’ve got this and I’m cheering you on every step of the
way 💚
Â
With love and energy,

PS: Exciting news coming soon…
Over the last few months, behind the scenes, I’ve been working on something super exciting - my brand-new online program just for women over 40! 💻✨
It’s designed to help you feel strong, confident, and energised - wherever you are in the world. And the best part? I’ll be
looking for a small group of women to trial it for me at a reduced fee before it officially launches! 🙌
I’ll be sharing all the juicy details very soon - but if you’re already thinking “That sounds like something I’d love to be part of!” - then hit reply and let me know! I’ll make sure you’re the first to hear more.
Watch this space… I can’t wait to share it with you! 💚
