Hi
Does it feel like there just aren’t enough hours in the day to focus on your health? Between work, family and endless to-do lists, finding time to meal prep, exercise, or even just breathe can feel impossible.
Here’s the thing: you’re not alone. One of the most common challenges people face is the feeling that there’s simply no time to
prioritise their health. But I want to remind you of something important - you deserve to make yourself a priority, even when life is busy.
We live in a world that glorifies being busy. But often, “not having time” isn’t about the clock - it’s about how we’re using the time we have. Research shows that people who schedule their health goals - like workouts or meal prep - are significantly more likely to stick with them (Journal of Behavioural
Medicine).
Even small changes can make a big difference. It’s not about finding more time; it’s about using the time you already have in a way that serves you.
How to Reclaim Your Time
- Start Small: You don’t
need hours to make a difference. Just 10–15 minutes of movement, mindfulness, or meal planning can add up.
- Schedule It: Treat your health like an important meeting. Put it on your calendar and stick to it.
- Multitask with Intention: Stretch while watching TV, prep lunches while dinner cooks, or do a quick workout during a conference call break.
- Delegate: If meal prep or cleaning takes up too much time, consider
asking for help or using shortcuts like pre-chopped veggies or meal delivery kits.
- Remember Your Why: When life gets busy, reconnect with why you started. Whether it’s having more energy for your kids or feeling confident in your skin, your goals are worth the effort.
You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. Every small step - like swapping a sugary snack for a healthy one or going for a walk after dinner - is a win. Consistency, not perfection, is
what creates lasting change.
