Hi
This International Women’s Day (March 8th), I want to take a moment to celebrate YOU - an incredible, strong and inspiring woman who is embracing life, health and fitness on your own terms.
I am lucky to be surrounded by so many incredible women - both in my personal life and in my work. The women I coach and teach, whether in my online
sessions or in person, inspire me every single day with their resilience, determination and commitment to their well-being. I see firsthand the challenges women over 40 face and I also witness their incredible strength in pushing through and prioritising themselves in a world that often demands so much from them.
I know all too well the challenges women over 40 face - because I’m in this stage of life myself. I understand the shifts in our bodies, the changing priorities and
the need to navigate this time with confidence, strength and self-care. That’s why I work primarily with women over 40, helping them build confidence, strength and wellness as they step into the next stage of their lives. This newsletter is focused on the importance of health and fitness - not just for looking good, but for feeling empowered, capable and vibrant in everything you do.
As women over 40, we often juggle so many roles - career, family, relationships and personal
goals. But one thing we should never compromise on is our health and well-being. This year’s theme for IWD is “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” and that includes recognising the power of investing in ourselves - our strength, our vitality and our confidence.
Why Your Health and Strength Matter More Than Ever!
Aging is not about slowing down - it’s about adapting, thriving and continuing to challenge
ourselves in new ways. Whether it’s improving mobility, building strength, increasing energy, or simply feeling amazing in our own skin, our well-being is the foundation for everything we do.
Here are a few ways to celebrate YOU this International Women’s Day:
✅ Move with purpose – Whether it’s Pilates, strength training, walking, or dancing, find movement that makes you feel alive.
✅ Nourish your body – Give yourself the fuel you need to feel strong, energetic and
radiant.
✅ Prioritise self-care – Recovery, sleep and stress management are just as important as exercise.
✅ Support and uplift other women – Inspire and be inspired. When we lift each other up, we all rise together!
