In sports, there's a saying that when management gives a coach a "vote of confidence," it's often the kiss of death - a clear signal that change is looming
This concept applies to health and fitness as well, especially when we find ourselves stuck in a rut.
We tend to stick with
what we know.
Eating the same meals.
Following the same exercise routines.
But why?
The reasoning usually goes something like this: “It’s what I’ve always done.”
But here’s the thing: sticking to what’s familiar is a guaranteed way to end up with the same old, disappointing outcomes.
Whether it’s in our careers, relationships, parenting, or health & fitness,
repeating the same actions while expecting different results is the definition of insanity.
So, why do we expect anything different when it comes to achieving the body and health we desire?
If you want to see improvement, change is essential. If you’re not happy with where you are, the only way to get better is to make adjustments.
In terms of fitness, this might mean incorporating more strength training, or making each meal healthier by
adding protein and vegetables.
When it comes to health & wellness, it could mean committing to a quality multivitamin daily or simply getting an extra hour of sleep each night.
The only thing you can be sure of is that doing the same thing you’ve always done won’t bring about a different outcome.
So, what’s one thing you’re ready, willing and able to change today? Reply back and let me know.
