Hi
I want to share something important with you: health and fitness don’t have to be an all-or-nothing commitment.
By consistently doing a few simple things, you can make remarkable progress. These small actions can take you much further than continuing with the same habits that haven’t been working for
you.
You’ve probably heard the saying, “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.”
If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that maintaining a proper exercise routine, a supportive diet, and a healthy weight are crucial for preventing illness and avoiding severe outcomes if we do get sick.
Plus, let’s not forget how much
exercise can boost our mood and emotional well-being.
But what should you do if you’ve lost your way recently?
Jumping into an intense workout program might not be the best idea.
Here are 3 simple things you can start doing today to get yourself back on track:
Morning Routine: Commit to waking up a few minutes earlier and try a mindful meditation or 10 minutes of
gentle movement. You’ll be amazed at how much this can set a positive tone for your entire day.
Exercise Snacking: If you’re short on time for a full workout, try “exercise snacking” throughout the day. A few squats here, some lunges there, maybe a couple of push-ups or sit-ups – it all adds up by the end of the day.
Be Prepared: You know the saying … failing to plan is planning to fail. If you have
a busy day ahead, pack some healthy snacks like fruit, veggies, protein powder, or hard-boiled eggs. That way, when the hunger hits, you’ll have nourishing options on hand instead of reaching for crisps or a chocolate bar.
So, if the last couple of months haven’t gone as planned, what are you going to do this month to give yourself a fresh start?
Love Nicki
