Hope you enjoyed the long weekend last week!
Paul and I had a very busy one, as we were closing down
BeFit.
We cleared, cleaned and re- touched up the paint at the unit ready to hand the keys back Sunday evening.
We spent bank holiday Monday and Tuesday this week getting our garden gym ready to receive my Personal Training clients and LIFT ladies and it’s been working well.
However, I’ve been feeling absolutely worn out
this week and today I have lost my voice! The stresses of the past 3 years have not been easy. The new start which I hoped for last year when I opened my second studio was nothing but that!! I’ve felt physically, emotionally and mentally exhausted and I think it’s caught up with me this week!! I’m grateful that I have another long weekend to rest and recover!!
One of the things I am focusing on for the rest of this year is to notice how my body responds when there is so much going on and choose more self-care practices to avoid burn out.
Self care simply means taking care of your mental, physical and emotional well being so that you are able to deal with the stressors of day to day life
Exercise is something that helps me and I know that a lot of my clients feel so much better when they make exercise a priority.
I will be getting back to my own workouts as soon as I am
feeling better….. they have been a bit hit and miss over the last few months and I need to get back to my regular routine of weight training, Pilates and walking. All of those things keep me strong, mobile, flexible and help me de-stress.

We have secured a new venue for us to hold some of our classes - the Dance Studio at Bromsgrove School and will be adding to the timetable over the next couple of months.

Thursdays 5.50pm
All of the Pilates courses are currently held at Avoncroft Arts Centre Main Hall. Places are limited, so please contact me by replying to this e-mail for further information.
I also have a couple of Personal Training slots available too.
